Other Renewables
Besides the main markets of wind and PV projects, GA-Finance has an interest in other proven technologies such as small hydro.

Additional to projects that directly generate energy, GA-Finance is actively involved in projects that optimize the energy management in real estate properties. The implementation of technologies such as Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES, in Dutch: Warmte Koude Opslag) require separate investments in energy installations which do not necessarily make part of the property structure itself and we support such ESCO business models.

GA-Finance considers projects in this area as a separate category of investments where a project finance approach can minimise the cost of ownership.

Hydro,  Biomass
GA-Finance works both with pure project developers as with asset owners (utilities, private and public funds etc.). We help our clients to source equity and debt once the development project reaches the capital intensive construction phase. Also we work for asset owners (operators) to free up capital deployed in operating assets.

Key strengths are a sound expertise in project financing (debt and equity), a network of advisors combined with in depth industry knowledge.
